LPG has escaped the budget once again....

#1 Post by Tubbs »

I see no specific rises in LPG in the budget again. Same old same old. 'next budget LPG will be the same price as petrol' and all those old wives tales.

So how much does LPG weigh? I know water weighs 1 kilogram per litre but what about LPG, it's pretty relevant http://www.businesslink.gov.uk/bdotg/ac ... =RESOURCES

So it goes up 3p a litre in August, just the same as petrol and diesel. Assuming it doesn't get postponed again.

Sadly a letter from Calor came today to explain that due to increased costs their LPG is going up, I believe something like 2ppl - letter's at work/I'm at home sorry. At least they fill for you!

Gents, just to clarify petrol and diesel duty will rise by 3.02ppl to 60.97ppl on the 1st of August and Autogas LPG duty will increase by 2.87ppl to 18.67ppl and then you'll pay VAT on top so a nice double-dip by the government...
