Looking for LPG fitting in West/South Wales - Jeep Cherokee

#1 Post by eddscott »

I'm in Pembrokeshire, West Wales and I'm thinking about having an LPG system fitted to my Jeep.

There is a PRINS fitter locally but I think they are quite expensive compared to other options. There are some "done in a day" places close-ish but I'd rather have it take a couple of days and be done right the first time. Prices seem to vary too for a 6 pot from £1000 up to £2000 so not sure where to go.

Any help really appreciated.

I'm in Ludlow, Shropshire and charge £1225 for a 6 cylinder. I fit a good quality Italian system not a cheapo polish type. What year Cherokee is it ? And I would need the car for 4 days. They convert well. There is another converter on here called tommo I believe he is in Wales and knows his stuff.
There are a couple of companies cardiff way but I don't really know too much about them. My advice though is do your homework if you want a good conversion. It's worth the effort If you want a positive LPG experience.

This guy is looking for somebody to fit a Prins system, not repair one. The cheap systems haven't been available in the UK for long so most people have quality systems. But even a quality system needs maintenance and most problems are caused by no maintenance or poor quality installations. Don't forget though, people without problems wouldn't come on here, they have no need.
