Trip To Norway Via Germany and Denmark.

I've had a search with some success, but could any of you good folk on here advise on the fittings required for traveling in these countries and what sort of availability of LPG there might be. Many thanks.

Can't help with Norway or Denmark but most of Germany and Belgium uses the Acme screw fitting, whereas Holland uses the same bayonet fitting as us and the rest of Europe use the Italian Cup. Your best bet, assuming you already have a UK bayonet fitting, is to get an adapter for both the Acme screw and Italian cup. That way you'll be able to fill up anywhere.

Thanks Gilbertd. An Acme is ordered from ebay. Already have a cup filler from my excursions to France and Spain.

From what I can find on the net Denmark looks virtually LPG free and even if you can find it, it's pretty much the same price as Unleaded Norway seems a bit better but I'm not holding my breath!!

On a run fully loaded the Classic can normally eek out 500 miles on it's 130 litres of gas so this will help and with 4 to share the costs a bit of petrol running won't be so hard to take.

Hi,
We've just completed our trip through the countries you mentioned.
The links provided by Chevy-LPG are to the site that we used, which proved very accurate.

Basically, we found Denmark to be more or less not worth the hassle of looking for lpg,
Norway is pretty good, Sweden is more difficult but do-able,
Finland, it doesn't exist.....
