Help with LPG system and fitter

Hi all

I'm converting my car to LPG. I've already got an LPG car - a Vauxhall Astra 1.8 with factory fitted system, which has been good for me so far.

However, I've just bought a new car - a 2001 Astra Coupe 2litre turbo which I'm converting.

There are three places near me which do conversions:-

Profess in Cardiff - Quoted £1095 for an Stag installation, although I've heard some negatives about them.
LPG Wales in Cardiff - Quoted £1095 for an install (I think it was a stag system), but they also do Romano systems, which are more expensive. Does anyone have any experience with this company or any recommendations on the different systems?
Fairwater Garages - Quoted £1850 for a system, which is a little out of my league.

Does anyone have any other recommended fitters within a fair distance of Cardiff? I don't mind travelling a reasonable distance for a quality fit.

I've been told that Vauxhall Astras need a flashlube system fitted? Does anyone have any experience with this?

£995 for a bigas or emer injection system with a flashlube system fitted, im just outside of Hereford.
Can collect and return for a nominal fee too !

Had my Suabru done there can not praise them high enough Andrew he is the owner will answer all question you ask him , had mine converted in january and Andrew emailed me this week and said there was a new ECU software upgrade out and i should come done to have it done , thats what i call customer service
so iam off this weekend for it

My mini one was done by profess it's done 3500 miles with no issues. I must say I have had a play with the software my self recently and got a bit more mpg out off it now getting 38 on LPG!! This means I'm getting nearly 600miles per tank 8.3 per mile

what size of tank do you have?

from his figures , it needs to be a 90 litre tank!! a bit tight in the back of a mini i,d say

No I can get 70l in it not sure what the dry capacity is may be 80?

I got the biggest I could have as I do not need the boot as it not our main family car.
