starting

:?: hi guys only just had my car done to lpg but wont start unless i change over to petrol before i switch off , other than this runs great , any ideas :?:

Yep, new conversion so take it back.

However, we need more information to help anyway... What car? What system? Single or Multipoint injection?

If it's the latter (so a mixer system) on an old carbed car then that doesn't surprise me that much as you need to fill the float chamber back up with petrol so there's something to burn when you try and start it :wink:

ok guys , its a new installation Leyland LPG did the job , its on a 2007 lexus rs350 , yes i will be taking it back as he told me to cover 2000 miles and then he can fine tune it so not blaming the instalation seems to be a damn good job

doing 2000 miles aint gonna make any difference if it was,nt done right to start with .Get it fixed or get your money back.
