Honda Civic Type R - stopped running on LPG Friday any ideas

Just a long shot, im not overly upset it run really nicely for the year its been installed

Friday it decided to stop working not a problem it had gas but probably half a tank so i visited M6 Chorley services and filled it up, still the same bleeps at me when i engage LPG

currently running on petrol id guess something has worked lose maybe ?? i guess it needs the installer to check it over run it through the laptop see what's not right ??

i wondered if there was a reset option or maybe a shut off

any tips its a Romano system

first thing i would do is to check all pipes and connections and also electrical connections
if that doesnt get you anywhere, u will need to identify your system a bit better and one of the experts on here will advise.
but would certainly have a look over things before going to a garage and parting with your pennies! lol

You'd be complaining if the car stopped working when it was only a year old so why should the LPG system be any different? Take it back to the installer and get him to fix it.

guy who installed it is away till Monday i was just hoping there a was a magic cure in the week im without GAS

Dave will fix it i'll just spend a few quid on petrol instead

Well 2 weeks on a no fix

the guys came out tested it for 40 mins and came to the joint idea the solenoid in the boot was buggered, came back a few days later to replace and nothing

so it seems the rear valve is up the spout luckily ive got a 2 years warranty but still awaiting a repsonse on the replacement item

bad times when your paying full price for fuel (got miles to do this weekend gonna be hard)


anyone else had a valve go after a year ??
