Missfire under 2k revs

Hi all,

I'll start by saying i've done a search and i've already changed my spark plugs, coil, HT leads and liquid phase filter.

I have a BRC sequent multi point kit.

The car drives fine on petrol with no misfires.

Under 2000 rpm it misses quite a lot on gas - most prominent at 1750rpm. If full throttle is used under these revs it results in lots of chugging and pops.

I'd say i'd ruled out the ignition system by changing what I have (waste of money!) the only thing i've not changed is the gas phase filter but I doubt it will be that - the liquid phase one was clean.

Which brings me to the question - are my injectors knackered? They've only done 50k and are BRC ones. Can they be rebuilt? (If so by whom?)

Edit: Not sure if it's related but when switching the car on it cranks for ages before eventually firing, very embarrassing! If I switch to petrol a minute or so before I turn the car off then it fires quickly like a normal car.

we are pressuming the car has recently started doing this, 2 possibilities to start with leaking injector[s] or vaporiser leaking through the vac pipe.
Easy to diagnose with the software,so you may need a BRC dealer.

Hi did you check the spark plug gap before fitting

Well it has been doing it for a while now but it is getting worse.
I think there is an LPG garage not too far away with the software - out of interest how would the software tell them if an injector or the vap was leaking?

Yes I have checked the gaps - there was nothing wrong with the old plugs to be honest I just replaced them as it was easy enough and could have been the cause of my problem ( it wasn't )
