Prins system, no lights at all on gauge.

I have a Prins sequential system and last night a problem seems to have developed.
All the LED's went off on the gas gauge and the car switched over to petrol. A short time later the single orange LED came back on and I was able to push the button and go back onto gas.
On my next journey the gas gauge came on ok and all was fine for 10 mins and then it went completely off with no LED's on at all again.
Now it does not come on at all and I'm having to run on petrol.
Does this sound like a gauge/change over button problem, or could it be something else?

I would first check the electrical power connection and earth connection to the gas ECU.

Thanks for your advise.
I have been under the bonnet this afternoon, pulled out and pushed back in each plug and fuse I could find for the gas system.....and hey presto, gas system works fine again now!
