Tuning Prins Vsi

Hi, I got a Prins Vsi LPG system installed on my Nissan 200sx. I'm looking to upgrade the turbo and fit larger injectors to the car.

My question is can the system cope with the increased power, if not can it be adapted to cope?
I'm running brown injectors on the Prins and my car will be running 555's and around 360bhp.

That will change the petrol timings, and so require a complete setting up session for the VSI anyway (which takes it cue from petrol times)

I don't know what a 555 is.
Brown injectors are OK up to 45kW, looks like you break that. There aren't any bigger ones, and if there were they'd operate too slowly for your rpm.
VSI reducer is OK up to 180kW or so, looks like you break that ; but you can fit two.

The most cost-effective approach will probably be to sell your 4-cyl kit on, and fit an 8-cyl kit, twinning smaller injectors into each cylinder.
You'll need to take special care with the supply from the tank, and see that the tank valving is up to scratch, even the tank orientation to cope with slosh.

The 555's are the injectors, I'll be going from 280cc to 555cc.

There aren't many cheap shortcuts to getting 66kW per cylinder.

Many cheapo LPG 8-cyl kit can stretch to 33kW "per cyl" if you go the twinning way, so could save a few quid by not going Prins again. Dual regs would still be smart though, there are some rather inflated claims made. The problem you'll have is fitting all the gear and plumbing in.

Why not speak to your instaler and ask him to remap it once you have done the mods??,you will soon see if it cant cope and then work out a fix.

So i'm thinking (with the bigger petrol injectors and turbo) if i run the LPG on stock boost, it will be with just a remap. Then for some fun i can flick it onto Shells finest.

Can anyone recommend a decent Prins garage in the Yorkshire region?

Why?? pressure drop = change back to petrol, it takes milliseconds..

Undersized injectors = no rail pressure drop = still lean at max power.

It all depends on understanding where the bottlenecks are ; he may get away with it, he may not ; price of failure = ??

it wont get to max power,if in doubt use the duty cycle limit

Update

All mods fitted and she's running around 370bhp.

Now for the LPG,

I'm taking her to F1 automotive Bolton who have told me it should be achievable on low boost.
I'll keep this updated.

Unfortunately i'm running yellow injectors, not the browns i thought i had.

The Prins VSI can't support my current power.

2 options

1. remove the system and sell it, are they worth antyhing secondhand?

2. try and fit the system to my passat 1.8t, is it easily doable for a home mechanic?

Shame you have the wrong injectors.

I've done quite a bit with the 200SX are you SXOC?

I sorted kevs car for and Local chap Dave.

Dave had a quite a lot of mods done to his including teh 555 injectors ecu remap custom exhaust and some other bits and peices. With the right system set up correctly the power level you are looking at is possible with 1 vapouriser and 1 injector per cylinder.

The Prins system will swap over fine to the passat
