It was a handy fill up on the run to Aberystwyth & west Wales.
There is a new station open just north of Machynlleth, on the A487 at Pantperthog near the Centre for Altenative Technology. Its part of a Coal / Calour gas yard , I've yet to use the site but its go a nice new tank, visible from the road as you aproach from the north.
