Reading/Berkshire

Hello everyone,

I'm new here and very glad to have found you, as I'm seriously considering an LPG conversion for my Seat Toledo.

Does anyone have any recommendations for installers in Reading or the wider Berkshire areas?

Thanks in advance!

If you are happy to travel just a little bit ... I would personally recommend
Patrick Merry at AMS Autogas just outside Winchester.

I've just had my Omega 3.2 V6 converted by them and I'm extremely pleased with them ... they were very willing to discuss my requirements before the job; the job was done on time and to price; and the back-up and support after has been excellent.

As said .. I'm well pleased :)

Thanks. I'm hoping to find someone more local, but may give them a try if the search doesn't turn up a personal recommendation nearer to Reading.

No probs .. if you want more info let me know.

I did 3 months research into the conversion and chose them, even though I live in Swindon !!

This was based on attitude, information and the fact that they were quite happy to put me in contact with previous customers, and, to be honest, it was the reports from those customers that really made the decision for me.

Not the cheapest by any means .. but I wanted a system to last me 10 years .. not 10 weeks !!!

Good luck :)

That's great info, thanks. Like the idea of speaking to other customers, it's the same with a conservatory I'm planning to build, I'd like to go and see some of the company's work before signing up.
