Greetings and happy new year folks. After an absence of year and a bit I return to find a much improved site and familiar contributors - well done Damian!
My challenge. Come the end of February I will be getting a Ford Galaxy, 1996 model, I think a 2.0ltr petrol - sorry to be vague, I just said I would have it! I would like to convert this to LPG. Anyone in the Uxbridge area able to help? Can't find the installer that did my old Rover, I think he has gone away!
Many thanks
Martin
Installer in the Uxbridge area
Hi,
I had a conversion done recently in London, overall it's good but some of the wiring isn't so good.
Anyway, I've found a much better place more locally to me in Slough, BPV Autogas.
Went there yesterday for a check up and I was very impressed so I'm getting my wiring redone by them and they are giving it a check over and retune.
They also have loan cars which is good.
Couldn't find anyone else round these parts.
Check the LPGA website, they have a list of approved installers but my original one was on there so just because they are on the list doesn't mean you'll get a top job done.
There is a place in Amersham that looks like you should give it a wide berth, and a place that is highly recommended on here in High Wycombe.
BPV is nearest to you though.
Good luck and keep us posted.
Andy
