Another shot in the dark for you. I had very similar symptoms with my car. I don't know anything about yours but thought I'd add this just on a long shot. My car started to miss after taking it for its MOT. What had happened was the wiring for the injectors had been interfered with by the MOT'er poking around the engine bay. This meant that when the car switched to gas it ran fine but on petrol it started to miss. Soldered the wire and everything back to normal. The o-rings on the injectors themselves needed replaced as well but you would be able to smell petrol if yours had the same problem. Also, as above I'd definitely check your HT leads are on the correct way.
Hi H-M3
A few things:
For a really good manual, go to eBay and type in 'P38 Range Rover manual CD' and buy one, it details lots of really good info including the runs for the HT leads.
Check your leads in the pitch dark with the engine running, my engine was lighting up like a Christmas tree with the HT leaking everywhere.
Run standard NGK plugs at 0.8mm
You should get 170-210miles with your setup (as I do).
If your manifold is the 'banana' shape as opposed to the rectangular box shape, have the gas injectors checked to ensure that the correct injector is chucking into the correct cylinder, very common problem!!!
Best of luck.

Just looking back through RR stuff as having problems with mine.H-M3 wrote:Ill have to check on the gems or lucas part dude.
Don't know if you worked this out, but yours will definatly be the Bosch Motronic system. They changed from the Lucas GEMS system during 1999.
Did you ever get the problem sorted?
