Reading this forum some equipment works better than others if its a mixer system thats understandable but if its on sequential then your mpg should be better and no loss of performance should be noticable.Remember the differential is now far greater than last year .You
should be saving 50ppl come on smile please.Or is that not the case at the moment. As i siad i drive an old volvo 740 with a 2.3 engine (each to thier own) its on a very old system but some cars work some dont. But all work on the new systems i think(or should if done properly)_

Not telling where it is though....

I have been telling people who have asked me about LPG conversion to give up on it unless they are converting a really fugal petrol engine in the first place. I do think that petrol will stay around the £1.05 mark until around the end of March next year but by then, LPG will be around the 70 p lt range.
My V8 Disco 11 with its max 12.5 mpg on LPG is now a complete waste of time .A gallon of pet at £1.00 lt will buy me equivalent of 2 galls of LPG. Two galls of LPG at 25mpg or one gall of pet doing around 23mpg.. Get your calculator out and tell me how long it will take me to re coupe the £2,200 conversion costs.

It just goes to show people who have bad experiances shout much louder
than people who have good ones.Lpg is cheaper than petrol or diesel nearly half price motoring or at the very worst only a third saving (this is fact)not a guess. It depends on your mileage and vehicle to say how long before you have recouped all your money.
Also lpg will always be cheaper than petrol or diesel the goverment have given a maximum duty rise in relation to petrol or dirtydiesel of 1.5p year
more than the formentioned on a rolling three year programme.
As i said earlier the goverment have to be seen to be green and lpg is by far the lesser of the evils (including biodiesel) as i said get googling and look for studies on lpg.It will reasure you.Include results on nox pm10
and co emmissions.

at the same station in June it was 98.9 pence per litre for petrol
today it is £1.02.9
so petrol has gone up 4 pence LPG has gone up 13 pence .
so petrol roughly 4 percent rise
LPG ...30 percent rise
if you can come up with better figures to make us all feel reassured ...then do so.
all the best.mark

DAVEK....Wrong!!!!!
Re over 50p a litre every where in 2008
I have been paying 42.9 for the past 5 months at an independant retailer.
They have just refilled thier tank and are now charging 48.9 and will be doing so for the next 4 months for sure!!!!!!!!!
The local Morrisons is 54.9 so they've lost my custom for the last 5 months
Get yer facts right!!! Besides anyone who cant be bothered to look around and fills up at a BP garage deserves to be ripped off!!!!
