Can anyone give me an idea of the current price per litre of our favourite fuel across La France, s'il vous plait?
Wor Lass is muttering about the viability of a trip now the holiday car is cheaper to run.
TIA
Stuart.
well , due to a broken leg haven't been buying gpl lately , but similar to uk prices when last I looked ...67 to 76 cents
am back out and about next week so will have a look then and post if you haven't had a reply

2 tips though

the 76 was on the autoroutes , avoid at all costs [ no pun intended]
if you see a leclerc supermarket fill up , there won't be a lower price in the area [ pronounced le claire in case you have to ask ]
French gas has a higher butane content than most, and will give you a noticeable increase in MPG.
If you're anywhere near the Belgian border while in France, nip over and fill up there.
would that that were true ; the same tanker fills the lpg tank at the filling station and the propane tanks around the houses ; driver tells me that it comes out of a tank marked propane at the depot
