LPG filling station overlay for 'Autoroute' maps

The icon on my desktop that I click on to access the LPG overlay for Autoroute 2002 (Win 98) has mysteriously changed into the flag-like Windows logo on a white background and now has a .axe file extension. I've tried redownloading it but I think I must have inadvertently changed some settings. Any suggestions most gratefully received.

I've bought a power invertor that takes the 12dc from the lighter socket and goes to 240voltac. So now I have an old pentium 2 laptop with autoroute2002 and the LPG overlay. It seems to be a lot cheeper that buying tomtom or garmin and you can add to it when you find more stations
