Rover 820 Lovato blowback!!
Hiya, hoping for some advice! Just bought another Rover 800 LPG car to replace old Emmegas Rover 800 (55mpg, great car but had disagreement with 'kin big Deer & lost) & what I thought would be an easy fix for rough idling (still very green on LPG) has turned out to be the result of a "blowback". Went today to AFS in Slindon who are listed as being Lovato installers, who advised they no longer cover this product. They had a look anyway and found the mixture to be very rich which would explain my 37mpg on LPG. They said that possibly the mixer & some sensor on the air intake could be damaged but were unable to pinpoint due to lack of software. They also estimated the system was approximately 6 years old. Has anyone got any ideas where to get this fixed/ rough cost of repairs. Any help much appreciated.(Looking at you CS Autogas!)I'm located in Wokingham, Berks. <BR>Thanks <BR>Jeff
