Autogas Italia Powerjet software

#1 Post by AMcK »

Hi, can any one point me to a source of software for this system?

I have downloaded the current version from http://www.autogasitalia.it/db/cat1.asp?lan=eng&id=19

When I connect using this I get an error box telling me the firmware version of the ECU is not compatable to the software.

Can anyone point to to another version that would be compatible with ECU Firmware Ver 01.42 28/02/2008 - Ecu.Inj468 ?

I want to try to calibrate this more accurately than the installer seems to able to, so I can banish the engine MIL coming on.

I have experience of calibrating lpg having fitted and setup a Roamno system on my wife's Range Rover, which has never had a MIL come on since installation or thrown a P code, unlike my professionally installed Powerjet system :(

Thanks Rossko. I believe the way around it would be to obtain the updated firmware, but this doesn't appear to be available, other than to their approved installers.

They are not very helpful. When I have tried to contact them I have had no reply. They only appear to support their registered installers, which I am obviously not one. It has taken me over a year just to source a lead as I could find no one who would sell one.

I can't even find the UK supplier of the equipment to contact or to find an alternative installer that might help.

Any help or info would be very much appreciated

thanks

get your fault codes read, its possible it injector circuit faults.

a lot of the cheaper systems suffered with poor emulation, aeb have a "124" just for this reason, Jags and Japs usually suffer,

Do you mean the OBD fault codes or the LPG system fault codes?I can't read the LPG codes until I can connect the software and other than the installer I have previously used I don't know of another installer in the area that uses this system. The OBD codes show the car running lean and also lean under acceleration and this is why I want to recalibrate whilst someone else drives and I can read injector and fuel trim values to get them to match as closely as possible under all conditions, and not just use the autocalibrate feature.

Does Autogas Italia stuff use AEB? I thought they were different. The car is a Saab

Thanks Gavbriggs - the version number they have on their site is different to the version I have and was only released 2 months after the firmware date in my ECU - so will give it a go tomorrow- here's hoping :D

Gav you are the man

The software on that site matched my ECU firmware and works perfectly.

Woody - there were no faults logged in the lpg's ecu - thankfully

Just need to fine tune the system now - first initial look shows trims a bit out at idle, not sure about the rest of the map until I get out on the road with a co-driver

Thank you :D

Hello, I need version 1.41 or 1.42 for PowerJet! Do you have it?
