Done some more reasearch and pretty much everywhere says you need Calibration Tool to adjust on Fly SF ecu which is only auhtorised for use by brc installers

Until recently I (courtesy of Mick at LPGAutosupplies) would have been able to help you get a working copy of BRC Calibration Tool.

Not Mick's fault that I can't do that now, but Mick might still be able to help you (and me when my 1 years licence period expires) get a copy / renew the license. I say might because TinleyTech (now effectively LPGAutosupplies) used to be the BRC UK importer but afaik haven't been the BRC UK importer for some time now.

I have a working copy (I think... and maybe only until the license expires) but there's no way to remote into your laptop. To remote you'd need the working copy not me. It's not possible to copy the working copy from my laptop to yours either.

I think my switchiver temp is definitely over 50 degrees as it changes over when engine coolant tempis around 55deg. Im wantimg around 25 degrees with a smaller delay in switchover and start straight away on gas when warm

Any reasom whu the switchover temp is that high.

And i tried a force start on lpg by holding the lpg button and turning key but doesnt want to start. Is it true some systems have a limit before needing to be reset and whats the correct procedure for brc

If switchover temp is set to such a high changeover temperature it is likely that it was set at such a high temperature in the hope that the engine would be running in Valvetronic mode (as opposed to throttled mode) by the time it switches over... To prevent problems occurring due to the installer not accounting for aspects I've described in this thread viewtopic.php?p=122362

Having said the above though, these engines do warm up quite quickly. Perhaps the installer (or default settings in software) set the system so that it switches to LPG a minimum amount of time after starting the engine when reducer temp at starting is below (say) 25c. If default was, say, at least 1 minute to switching if initial reducer temp is below 25c then you might find that with a quickly warming engine it is up to 50+c before it switches. On the other hand if the reducer is above, say, 30C it might switch as soon as it hits, say, 40c because the minimum switching time isn't applied.

Thats makes sense

Although like you say then engine ia in valve tronic mode in around 1 minute (although the weather is warmer outside) id imagine winter will be a couole minutes

So with 20 degrees ambient ive observed switching time to be around 3 minutes have driver just over half a mile which i guess isnt too bad

And warm start it starts on petrol and switches in around 15 seconds maybe a bit longer if the car has cooled down a bit
