I recommend you check out the following sites
Www.filllpg.co.uk

I've generally found the Sainsburys at the Leisure park more often broken than working (the one just south of Blackwall tunnel). The one on the A13 (Beckton) has been broken the last time I tried to use it on one side, I think they had run out as well. I've emailed Sainsburys to ask whats going on and didn't get a straight answer other than we are trying to sort it. It may be worth trying to call the filling station to ask?

No idea on the Swanley one as haven't been past there in ages. There does seem to be some stations coming back around the London area (Sainsburys at London Colney was back online last time I tried to use it) so hopefully the shortage is ending now.

A few of the Morrisons that were out of supplies are now back online. I filled up yesterday in Wellingborough and that was out last week so supplies must be getting out slowly.

Both Morrisons and the Texaco in Doncaster were all out of stock but I know that at least the Doncaster Morrisons on York Road has been restocked.

Shell at Broughton is back in stock again now (well for LPG it is, they had no regular diesel left though today!) and supplies seem to be improving as Richard has said above. Though it may take some time to return to normal levels as so many folk will be filling as soon as any becomes available.

That's a bonus isn't it? The less oil burners on the road the better as far as I'm concerned. But another question, why is it always the diesel drivers that seem to spray it all over the forecourt so it gets on your shoes and makes the car stink?

I think a lot of that is down to it being more oily and not evaporating (unlike petrol) so once it gets split it just stays there. Though maybe it just says something about diesel drivers? :) The downside to them being out, is it seemed to make the area next to the lpg pump the space to use their phone to find somewhere else to fill up.

Second time in a week, Asda's filling station here has completely run out of petrol and diesel

I found out a little bit more about refineries being shut down. Apparently when they saw the demand for fuel dwindle at the start of the pandemic and having never seen a vaccine appear for anything in less than five years they brought their maintenance/repair schedules forward and assumed they had the luxury of time. A vaccine appeared within a year and the world wants to get back up to speed and the refineries aren't as yet ready.

Compounding that, theres a shortage of HGV drivers as well. And of course, not all HGV drivers have the required ADR to deliver fuel either.
