My Lexusrx300 occasionally when changing over from a cold engine you can smell gas in the car for a couple of minutes
Most of the time it is fine no smell at all only occasionally any ideas what could be causing this ,oh it has a BRC kit fitted

you have a leak somewhere

Have a good look under the bonnet at the hoses from the vapouriser to injectors and manifold, either one has a leak or split or it could do with being done up better. Might help to put some leak detector or soapy water over the joints when its in that state to see if you can find it, but I'd try checking any hose clips are tight first.
