Started to Kill petrol injector signal only when Nevo is active, on petrol Nevo off, no problems.
Leave it ticking over on petrol waiting for changeover conditions it will kill one of the injectors, engine runs rough and there's no injector signal in the Nevo software, that'll log the fault though.
Turn the engine off and on again, and the signal returns and I'm back on petrol.
Mapping and vacuum
Vacuum values always between 1.03 and 0.99 bar, no matter the engine speed.
I'm guessing I've put the vacuum line in the wrong place on the inlet side, just after the MAF sensor, anyone know where I should tap the line to get a good vacuum pressure.
I also can't get Nevo to connect to the Ecu via OBD, there are only 2 active signal lines on the E39, connecting to either or both lines.

That could be due to mismatching petrol injector / LPG injector channel, confusing striped unstriped injector break wiring, bad initial calibration (or in-appropriate pressure / nozzles), defective ECU. Over the years I've known a couple of KME ECU's not connect petrol injector wiring properly, in one case the ECU was only weeks old - On gas there'd be no problem, on petrol a misfire on one cylinder due to the problem. The vacuum (engine) side of the throttle body... Because there is no vacuum at the other (air filter) side of the throttle body.. and yours isn't Valvetronic? I expect you'll have a few questions later!roggy roo wrote:Mapping and vacuum

Least of your worries at this point (Nevo Pro then?). Before worrying about this, cure the other problems and be confident there's no ECU issue (if broken in one way, maybe broken in another too). If I turn the LPG system off from switch, then it's off/inactive.
Apparently the E39 will go into batch fire mode, if there are problems with the inlet cam sensor signal.
I did have a problem with the cam sensor and replaced it.
Shouldn't affect this though if the sensor signal's good enough to run on petrol, then Nevo shouldn't be messing about reporting a lost signal and killing the outward bound signal to the injector.
Thing is it's not consistent, worked OK(ish) for a week or two, needed tweaking/mapping, then it started killing/losing the injector signal.
Only did it twice yesterday.
I've had the LPG system turned off for weeks, got bored/peed off looking the laptop, it cutting out, running fluffy etc, just needed a break from faffing about with it.
Had a search about on here for threads, apparently there's a spare/unused vacuum outlet on the M54 inlet manifold somewhere that I've missed, after throttle.

Unless the mapping is wrong enough to cause a misfire on the cylinder and then fuelling is switched off to that cylinder (Gilbert's point). One thing's for sure - If you're seeing around 1 bar MAP all the time and your engine isn't Valvetronic then the fuelling cannot be correct at all loads. The combination of incorrect MAP signal and incorrect mapping is is by far the most likely cause. Never noticed, always drilled my own. What engine is this?
