South Manchester LPG Update and Service

#1 Post by MackV12 »

I have been posting in the having problems section, topic V12 Addict:

http://www.lpgforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php ... &view=next

The advice has been good and I now have the LPG system fitted to my '95 Daimler Double Six working reasonably well. The car has been sat for approximately 3 years before I got it and I have spent nearly 6 months bringing it back to running order.

The LPG system is a couple of mixers inserted in the air intakes, a Leonardo ECU, with a couple of Pitagora emulators - see photo's:

The airfilters have been replaced for some new ones. The original airfilters (in the photos) had ally restrictors in them. The mixers were joined to the air intake with 3 bolts and a lot of silicone sealant. There is toroidial tank in the boot, but the filler is on the slam panel and needs an adapter to fill. No idea if or when the LPG system was last serviced.

In summary I need a LPG fitter to review what is there and give me a quote for options to fix (definitely move the filling point and fixing)/update/service as required.

Although I live in south Manchester (WA15) I will travel to find a good LPG fitter.

Try this chap - he's a bit nearer to you, if you haven't got your issue sorted. He's UKLPGA approved & I've seen him working on Japs / Daimlers.
