My petrol fuel rail has started leaking. For the time being, I have removed the fuse from the fuel pump to stop the leak. The parts are due to arrive early next week. Will using the emergency start feature cause me any issues and what precautions should I take?
Thanks.
Rik.
Using emergency start, issues?
Re: Using emergency start, issues?
You don't mention which system it is, but some will only yet you do the emergency start a few times. (5 times i've seen mentioned in the past before it needs resetting to be able to do it again).
Re: Re: Using emergency start, issues?
It's a stag 400 system. I've already had to plug in my laptop to enable emergency starts. This system allowed me to enter any number of emergency starts I wanted. Either way, it should see me me through to weekend til I can swap out the leaky o ring on the petrol side of things.Brian_H wrote:You don't mention which system it is, but some will only yet you do the emergency start a few times.
