Only if it is between the engine and the lambda sensor. If after the lambda sensor and cat, it shouldn't.

Thanks GilbertD for the answer on the hole. Definately in the middle section so shouldnt be a problem, will have to sort for MOT though.

I am now averaging 33.5mpg on gas out of the Seat, which at 79.9p/l works out to roughly 11ppm.
Not to bad really I suppose.
