I like the photo of the V8 disco on their web site. The one with the tank on the slope severely, you would,nt get a football under it for sure. Nice speedbump crusher though.

I think there is some confusion going on here, there are a number of convertors in wales, The ones Tubbs mentions, Mint, is nothing to do with Profess which billynoband is referring to.

And statements Like whats all that whitestuff over the LPG loom can be quite detrimental as well. If something has happened at a later date than the install, that is nothing to do with the installer. i agree it looks untidy, but again we don't know the full story, has it had any engine work done on it, if so who did it and did they just throw the loom and ancillaries back in.

I have nothing to do with MINT or PROFESS, but I think this witch hunt is getting out of hand.

Pictures say a 1000 words, but only half the story.

99% of people reading this would take what you wrote as implying it had something to do with the installer, thats all I am saying. If someone puts something on this forum it is taken as gospel that it was the installer who did it.

I agree with Tommo here - From a prospective customer's point of view I don't think that badmouthing other installers reflects well on the industry - it looks less than professional. By all means point out the facts (i.e. where something is clearly unsafe) but it's perfectly possible to have an untidy looking conversion that is safe and works well.

It's an implication that if someone has not taken the time to get something looking neat that they won't have taken time over any other aspect of the install, and personally a messy conversion (even if safe/working well) would really bug me. But you could argue that if a customer is not bothered how it looks they would probably prefer that the installer spends their (finite) time on making sure it runs right.

And over the oil filler etc. It's mud splash - a common sight in Land Rover engine bays (no sissy plastic panels below)

i agree with tommo, and i would like it known that i didn't actually finger Mint lpg directly... They are a very good company who have a good reputation. However it was quite funny. But we shouldnt get into slagging off other installers either.
Lets call it a day, eh boys ?
