Western route past paris

#1 Post by lebesset » Tue Dec 06, 2005 8:59 am

in an attempt to draw traffic away from paris , the french government have spent large amounts of money on the

calais/rouen/evreux/orleans route

the number of british registered vehicles on this route has increased dramatically as the improvements are now largely finished

those using this route can find the best prices on lpg as follows

boulougne .......if coming from further north , take the last exit before the peage section and as you go down the hill to pick up the old N1 towards abbeville [ pronounced ab ville incidentally] you will see the Leclerc hypermarket in front of you

most people who have filled at boulougne will have enough range to get to Chartres ;go round the by-pass until you find the le mans road , turn towards the town centre and in a few hundred metres is a Geant hypermarket ; you will need to go to the back of the store for an entrance without a height barrier
