Suitable plugs for a 1998 4.0.Jeep GC?

#1 Post by camaro » Wed Nov 02, 2016 1:54 pm

Time for a tune-up - I just pulled a plug from my Jeep and there wasn't really much of either electrode left!
I did have a set of cheapo plugs I was going to stick in - but of course now, I can't find them.
So what say you? I have a rotor, dizzy cap and leads to go on as well.
NGK/Champion/Bosch? Single or multi electrode?

All musings appreciated...

That's great, thanks Gilbert! A set of NGK FR5-1s it shall be. Must have a look at the dizzy cap as well and see if it's worth changing the whole lot - rotor, cap, plugs, leads - I have them around (somewhere) but have never fitted them!
