Have a look at www.filllpg.co.uk. You only have a couple of (expensive) places in Fort William but plenty much cheaper in Glasgow on your way up.

The title / subject heading of this thread is a bit out of touch for today, for the future for at least several years and historically because LPG prices temporarily spiked around the time this thread was started.

I expect a increased interest in LPG coming soon because many councils / local government are about to start charging diesels and many petrol vehicle models emissions based fees whilst exempting vehicles that run on LPG (or electricity). There is a lot of markup on LPG fuel sales and extra vehicles / consumption will lead to an increase in numbers of suppliers / forecourts selling LPG and this will increase competition. The initial interest is coming from taxi drivers but this will soon start interesting commuters.

I was very recently offered the chance to tender to convert 30 brand new vehicles that would be sold on for use as taxis in the Yorkshire area. I did tender but I doubt my price would be the cheapest. It doesn't matter much to me because if / when those 30 don't run properly I will eventually be called upon to sort them out.. and in the meantime I'm busy converting other vehicles :-)
