OK
But are there just as many electrical connectors to fit on single point system as on a Multipoint system?
Something I may not have appreciated until now.

Single point will have power, earth, ignition switched power, lambda, TPS and an output to the solenoids. Multipoint will have all of those plus a pair of wires to each petrol injector, although you'd usually pick all of them up at the petrol ECU.
The two systems are completely different except for the tank and filler end of things, everything under the bonnet is different and not interchangeable.

Thanks
Not that I have any intention of buying s/h unless brand new and unused, but this (ancient?) system is advertised as single point and the one below it I'm told "is single point"
Perhaps original systems looked like this and connected to all injector wiring? Hence my confusion.

Both those kits come with injector emulators which plug into the petrol injectors so if you are thinking about those then there are the same number of connections on a single and multipoint.

Question answered. It will be a new system I fit though still undecided on which option to go for.

Re: LPG FOR EARLY LEXUS V8 4L
Just as a follow up to one of your earlier posts, I'm running a BLOS carb on a 2.0 Pinto, I'll stick my neck out and say that of all the single point systems i've had/ driven the BLOS and the old school snorkel IMPCO gas carb setups (only had the IMPCO on V8's mind) seem to be amongst the best. It seems to carburate well throughout the rev range from idle to as much as i'm comfortable with with no flat spots or bogging under differing loads etc. No idea how well it would work on your engine though.
Multipoint LPG systems aren't that complicated - its more the splicing into the correct wiring that would bother me with not doing it on a regular basis. I have a couple of used multipoint set ups here I'm going to play with to see if I can get them to run from a Megasquirt ECU as and when.
The seller of the BLOS system does say that you can run them with a close loop stepper motor for finer mixture control, but i've no experiance of doing that.
As an aside my BLOS starting on gas from cold problem (there is a post on here about it) was solved by getting a copy of the instructions that included an additional last page.......yes it was down to lack of vacuum caused by the slider lifter screw being set fully open to save damaged in transit.

Re: LPG FOR EARLY LEXUS V8 4L
I might be selling my Stag 300 Premium (8 cyl) when I get around to fitting the new KME system to my car.
It's running great on my somewhat-complicated valvetronic v8, but I have bought the KME Nevo Pro 8 cyl kit now and so it would be silly of me not to fit it at some point.
The 'premium' part of this kit is an OBD2-addon, which will be of no use to you, and I don't use it either, but the rest of it is still applicable.
