air filter /flame arrestor 425 impco

im looking for an air filter /flame arrestor for a 5.7ltr chevy in a boat with a impco setup its got a 425 mixer. it has a metal gauze type one fitted but its only about 35-40 mm deep and theres a large gap underneath it where air gets in totally unfiltered..the mixer top looks like it needs something approx 70mm ish ? any ideas on where i can buy one from would be great .. thanks

Sounds like it has a simple flame arrestor fitted, which would probably be fine. If you do wont to go for a full air filter have a look at http://www.tinleytech.co.uk/acatalog/Mi ... ducts.html.
