Hi Guys,
Any recommendations on kit suppliers and Installers in the South West, between Bristol & Swindon ideally? I'm converting a Land Rover V8 to LPG and want to do this myself with a kit and follow up check/certification.
Really thought I had it sorted being just down the road from Blaze Autogas - Landie and Range Rover specialists with kits - but can't reach them by email or phone so far.
Much appreciate any recommendations.
Cheers
Dave Wright

Ross from Blaze is on here regularly but he has mentioned that they are fitting out new premises at the moment. Try sending a PM to Rossko,

That's good news isn't it! I was reading posts earlier this morning and saw him mentioned so have a message off to him already - and thanks for the post and assist mate.

I've had to reply saying "not for many months", premises are indeed in chaos and LPG business is not taking priority.
For DIY supplier I would recommend Tinley Tech, by the time you've fettled it we ought to be in a position to setup & certify.

Thanks for the PM and post - sent you a question back about where to start with building my system, I'll figure the rest but any advice on what to use will get me off on the right foot.
I'd be more than happy to ask about getting the system checked over and hopefully certified in due course with you, appreciate the offers and good luck with the relocation.
Cheers
Dave

Ross has suggested you get your kit from Tinley Tech and if you check their website you will see they do a number of different systems. Speak to them, tell them what car you intend doing the install on and see what they recommend. They actually list specific Land Rover kits so you'd get everything you need and know it will suit the car. The LR V8 doesn't need a high spec system, you're only looking at around 200 bhp from a V8 so that's only 25 bhp per pot which is nothing.Burbling wrote:sent you a question back about where to start with building my system, I'll figure the rest but any advice on what to use will get me off on the right foot.
