I agree with Ross on this. Asthetically it looks and feels right to have everything symmetrical and visually balanced but the hose before the injctor rails has little effect if longer on one side.

Annoyingly there doesn't seem to be any hard and fast rules on this. I've seen cars with gas systems installed with the hoses, even from the injectors, cut at widly different lengths. I've pointed out to the owner that there's no way that should run well on gas and guess what? It runs perfectly!

I wouldn't have thought you would need Flash Lube on a Vauxhall, it tends to be the Japanese stuff and the Fords that need FL. The miss firing could potentially damage things though.

In theory the conversion should not put the eml light on but in practice they often do. I bet more than half the cars converted are running around with the check engine light on.

Ask the converter why the lights on and what the code reader actually says is the fault.

If £5 of LPG takes you 58 miles you are travelling at a cost of 8.6p per mile. On petrol at £5 to 50 miles you are travelling at a cost of 10p per mile. So to save £2000 you would need to travel £2000/£0.1-£0.086 which works out at over £142800 miles! Unless I ...

The main problem with Hydrogen is storing the stuff on board a car. To compress it to a liquid would take huge pressures so it gets stored as a gas and probably wont go very far.

There is energy in water because it's H2O and that involves hydrogen which explodes!
I don't think that it's easy to 'crack' hydrogen from water though. I get the impression it takes alot of energy to do this. Much more than just a car battery can produce.

I found the minimum to be 4.3ms as you said. Strange though it's only on autocalibrate that this restiction applies. Normally operating it'll go much lower.

Eh? Tank pressure will always be the same until almost completely empty.
Full, half full, a third full the top of the gas will boil off and the tank will settle at the same pressure known as the Saturated Vapour Pressure or SVP. The only influence on SVP is temperature.

Turn the ignition on flick the switch between gas and petrol and then back to gas, then start the engine and it will start on gas.
