Hello again lads.Thought id rebump this thread rather than starting a new one.

So.The Jeep has been running sound as a pound up until a month or so ago and then i had an issue on petrol and LPG.
I changed out all sensors and leads,plugs etc.Anyway it turns out these have a common issue with the ECU ...

Well I've done 60 miles in Jeff the Jeep and it's running spot on so far, I turned adaptivity back on btw :) . Today will be the test mind as she has spotted a caravan so going to be hauling that home if it's any good. (flock my life) :lol:

Right.So ive dropped the reducer pressure a touch and set the config to 1.1bar.
Turned off adaptivity.

Done an auto cal and the figures have gone much higher than the base map(as expected)

What im trying to get my head round is at idle my trim is -3.5% yet the gas injection time is +1.5-2m/s ...

So,after seeing the last 10 posts i know i have to set the pressure at the reg to between 1-1.4bar. :lol:

Me personally having built a few drag cars(from 612bhp 300zx's to 700bhp hemis) i tend to keep the fuel pressure high at the rail so the injectors have more pressure at them on every cycle now ...

Ah balls. I thought I was all tech advanced using USB as we used to use serial ports many moons ago with a crappy old Panasonic lappy that weighed a ton.
I can't see me doing another conversion Anytime soon so if I can get round it using the USB I will. Will have a play with the com port in the ...

Reduce the pressure before you auto cal it 1-1.1 bar is more than enough

Good advice thanks Monkey.I have various scanners,mostly strap on but the Jeep Ecu is very basic and i struggle to get any trims on any of the scanners i have.Its only just obd2 on this chassis.

Would you suggest i drop the pressure on the reducer?

Ah bugger,i was hoping not to have to auto cal it again as thats when it started popping under hard accelleration.Ive got it on the stock map atm and it runs alright bar the slow pick up.I will go have a play.

Excellent thanks.I will have a play shortly.Regarding the gas pressure.In the settings part where you select the vapourizer/reducer pressure mine is set at 0.9bar but the Zavoli Zeta s reducer i have is rated at 1.4 bar.I just wondered if i had to alter this setting?

Oh yes also something i noticed is when i go down the road trying to get a graph saved,the connection to the ecu keeps dropping out which is annoying.Could this just be a dodgy cable?Im guessing with it being cold and it not wanting to bend much its getting mardy.

I think its regarding the mapping side of it.Mr Tubbs was a little vague on what it was im downloading but im assuming its a how to map it scenario.
