Re: Hesitation on moving off
OK this was not fully fixed, I was still getting misfires. I am now confident its fine now, and am kicking myself. The LPG injectors were full of heavy ends and I think this is either the expected result of over 130K since I last fitted a rebuild kit or the 9K I recently put on them without the ...

Re: Hesitation on moving off
OK I may have this fixed..
There seems to have been air in the cooling system, as when I was looking at it I noticed the level was slightly down in the header tank, pretty sure it was full when I last looked at it after refilling when the vaporizer was plumbed in so maybe some has worked its way ...

Re: Hesitation on moving off
OK, I will take a look, but IIRC when I ran the calibration software the gas pressure looked very similar to the old system and so left it alone, but ill take that with a pinch of salt.
However what does seem to work is keeping it on petrol till it's slightly warmer and then letting it switch to ...

Re: Hesitation on moving off
Hi, the system was taken off my old CLK320 (W208) the new CLK is a W209 both with the M112 engine. The original Dream XXI vaporizer lost the wired to the temp sensor when I took it off, so the Magic took its place
The inlet manifold was also moved from the old car to the new one, and the nozzles are ...

Hesitation on moving off
I have just fitted my old OMVL Dream XXI system to my 2003 CLK320, and run the calibration software and all seems well, except for one thing, there is a very slight hesitation/delay to moving off, it's not the end of the world, but it is a (very) minor irritation, any ideas how to fix it?

Advice sought on Mercedes W209/W203 install
Unfortunately my old W208 CLK 320 never got fixed, an X5 parked in its boot before that was resolved..
However I now have a W209 CLK 320 to replace it and am wanting to fit the omvl system I recovered to it. I have rebuilt the injectors and the OMVL vaporiser but have bought a new magic three ...

Mercedes CLK320 stalls when on gas
Well the CLK has done 100K since I last posted on here.. however it started to have a problem on gas today.. When it switches over to LPG it starts to run like a bag of nails, then stalls and smells of gas.. it then takes a lot of starting to get it going again on petrol (I have a feeling it is just ...

Not running on LPG
The LPG on the merc appears to think it is empty when the guage is full, it reaches temperature and then when normally it would change over it just beeps and stays on petrol. The system if an OMVL Dream XXIN using the OMVL injectors, vaporiser and sensors. So far working on the assumption its just ...

RPM signal
As mentioned elsewhere I have a Mercedes CLK320 that I am working on, all the bits are installed and plumbed in with the exeption of the last three wires
The RPM one is probably the most important of those left, but the car has a coil for each plug, but just to add to that it actually has 2 coils ...

removable tank
A quick question. Is it possible to fit a removable LPG tank? I have a discovery 2, which has the two small tanks where the petrol tank would normally be, I also have a spare 90 litre cylinder tank that is about 3 years old. What I would like to do is have that fitted in the boot of the disco but be ...

Re: BMW E46 330i BRC LPG overhaul questions
Check the revers side of the dash face plate, I have in the past found insulation tape found there to hide the three amigos on a discovery (ABS, traction and Hill decent lights), its possible the same has been done to your MIL. What was annoying about mine was it took longer top get the instrument ...

Re: OMVL diagram for the injector cut loom
That that bit sorted now!
I have the earth and main power feeds fixed. Next to sort out is the 'Brown wire' that looks black (by process of elimination! the balck and red ones are have a common sheath, and the only other ones left are the Lambda wires) this is feed for the RPM, and was connected to ...

OMVL diagram for the injector cut loom
I am in the process of installing the OMVL Dream XXI system I had in my rover 75 to my Mercedes CLK320 and all is reasonably well with it so far, however I am trying to find a wring diagram for the injector cut wires, When I fitted this to the rover I soldered proper connectors on rather than cut ...

Zavoli REGAL software issue
I have a Range Rover classic with an old Zavoli Regal ECU running the system, it looks just like a Leonardo which is what I suspect it is. I have on my discovery an allessi N system and have the lead for that, which also works on my OMVL Dream and was used on a Millenium and Leonardo in the past ...

Re: Disco filling problem?
Dropping the tanks is easier said than done. It has 2 40 litre tanks, however the tow bar has been modified to allow the rearmost one room, and you have to take the straps off the skid and take it down while the rear one hangs on the towbar mountings and then onece that's out of the way remove the ...

Re: MOT emissions
Cool so I don't really have a worry on that front, however it does make me think BL my LPG need recal rating, it's a zavoli system, all easy n? I will have to check, and it's not been done since I had the engine apart (slipping liner issues! Now pinned) but I guess it may have lost all its settings ...

Re: Disco filling problem?
No it's returning 110 miles on 35 litres! It did 56 miles when I disconnected one tank. As for the angle, I have no idea as its a very tight fit, and there's not a lot of margin for error. Too high and the valves would be jammed into the boot floor, too low they are against the other tank (they are ...

Disco filling problem?
Now I have my disco back up and running I find I have to revisit an issue I thought was fixed. It has 2 40 litre tanks, and so I guess should have a capacity of 62 litres, however when run to empty it only ever takes 35 litres which is normally consumed in 110 miles (ish), I did think one tank was ...
