7000 miles in. A service for both car and lpg system and all is well.

2000 miles under its belt from my used system. No issues.

However the alfa needed a new clutch. Dmf. Some new exhaust parts. Cambelts and water pump. A radiator and a wheel bearing.

Aye ive used the lpg auto tune fucntion. And it works okay.

Oh the cheek. Sorry I took so long to reply. The 166 is gonig through the usual Alfa Spat of issues so far. Mostly being the exhaust. But saying that its a lot harder to find the parts....

Problem number two.

I seem to randomly get LPG Gas pressure low. Then the car switches back to petrol. Might take five mins of driving on petrol before it can switch back.

I'm starting to think there maybe an issue with the valves on the lpg tank or solenoid.

Should be fine just taking it from a coil lead negative. Can't see why it wouldn't work.

Mines a wasted spark system so actually fires every cycle of the bottom end and the software compensates for it.

Shocking either way. And I thought my build was ropey

I think it just highlighted how clogged with leaves and other debris my old intake was and how gummed up the filter was from 10k of driving alone.

Seems your thoughts are correct simon as its worse during warm up.
so your diagnosis would be correct.

Have returned to the gas maps to help whilst very cold and it seems to have sorted it.

Although does show how fine the setup is and that at wot it was running lean.

I generally use them as they are faster and I don't even have to get out the car as they do all the work plus its cheaper.

Never noticed a loss of performance. But I have noticed you need more fuel to equal the same.
I'd love to actually get it on the rollers to see the difference between the two.

But I imagine it all depends on the ECU and how they compensate.
