Factory lane industrial estate in Lostock hall has two LPG sellers. There's a pay at pump unmanned operation that's currently charging 49.9p a litre. There's also Preston Calor Centre which charges around the same.

Hi all.
Is anyone here running an induction kit on their cars and if so, does it cause any issues for the LPG system?

I am thinking of potentially getting one for my ZT 190.

You don't mention which system it is, but some will only yet you do the emergency start a few times. (5 times i've seen mentioned in the past before it needs resetting to be able to do it again).

My petrol fuel rail has started leaking. For the time being, I have removed the fuse from the fuel pump to stop the leak. The parts are due to arrive early next week. Will using the emergency start feature cause me any issues and what precautions should I take?

Sounds like an in tank valve issue. I had the same issue and my gas place replaced the in tank valve under warranty. I once managed to get 82 litres of gas in to an 84 litre tank!

From memory, about £80. Speak to profess if you're worried about it. I seem to remember them doing your 75 if I'm not mistaken.

Yes I am as I drove the car to the other garage myself after Profess checked it over. I've had no issues with Profess whatsoever. I'm following the other thread very closely though. I also took the liberty of checking the drive LPG register for myself, too.

Well the car is now on the UK LPG register so all's good.

Well that was easy. I took the car back to Profess for a quick checkup, and then I took the car on to a local (to them) garage. It's now on the UK LPG register and didn't need any alterations in order to do so either. I guess this means that Profess' work is up to standard after all.

About a month ago, the pressure valve stopped knocking off once the tank was reaching 80% capacity. Profess were great, they took the car back, fitted a new valve and gave me a free tank of gas for the trouble of having to take the car back to them.

The issue is that the car can be inspected by UKLPG and the inspector you use will want to make sure that it will pass should that happen as it would be a strike against them. The inspection does need to be quite in depth to make sure all the parts are of the correct spec and type etc.

If it's done properly, a couple of hours. That's what you're paying for, a couple of hours labour for a skilled and qualified worker. If they find anything that doesn't comply, they will obviously charge you extra to put it right.
