Re: Stag Calibration
Error code went away after I increased the switch over temperature. I thik this is what created the error in the first place when I reduced it. Thanks for all your help especially LPGC.

Re: Stag Calibration
Hi
I had the stag lpg system installed in 2013 so had it about 7 years.
The car runs fine the engine light and error code just come on when running on gas. I've attached a few screen shots below showing error code and other settings.
I do have autoadaption but it's not enabled.

Re: Stag Calibration
Lpgc thank you for the in-depth reply I drive an MG ZT 2.5l they put in a stag 300 premium system.
It looks a bit complicated and I didn't want to mess things up so might take it to a professional.
Thanks again
Pat

Stag Calibration
Hi Guys,
How easy is it to calibrate my stag LPG system myself? I understand this has to be done every so often.
I had an error code which stated car running lean only when running lpg so assume it needs recalibration to match petrol.
Is this easy to do I have the software cable etc and know my ...

LPG filling point relocate
I'm getting the filling point moved from under the back bumper to where the petrol fill point is so easier to fill up.
A local lpg fitter said he can do it for me. Is there anything I need to make sure he does safety wise etc. I know it has to have some kind of escape outlet pipe anything else ...

Re: Lpg takes ages to switch over from petrol
Thanks Brian_H,
I have the software and will check. I think it could be an airlocked vapouriser as I remember the installers saying to me that there is an air pocket in the cooling system (which I thought they had fixed) Is this the same thing?
Also is there a way of forcing the system to switch ...

Lpg takes ages to switch over from petrol
It's been like this for a while sometimes on short trips not switching over at all dispite sufficient engine temp.
Is there a manual overide or can I change the settings in software to ignore engine temp and switch over after a certain time?
Thanks
Pat

How often should I service LPG system?
I have a stag system fitted to an MG ZT 2.5 V6 petrol engine and do low mileage maybe 2 to 3 k a year. Can I get away with only servicing the LPG every 2 years and just replacing the gas filter every 12 months? Car is running fine. I could even do the service myself if necessary as I have the cable ...
