pipe routing

spoke to my local guy today about getting lpg install certified, for the first time I have fitted the filler in to the rear quarter panel (no more bending down to fill !) he asked (as the pipe work is well hidden) if the pipe from the tank to the filler was taken outside the car and then back in, he...

Re: UKLPG have no powers but UK MOT station do ?

Think it was the 2013 UK MOT updates where every garage had to have a can of leak spray and a towbar electrics test, they now have to test for LPG leaks

Re: Possible sticky injector simulator?

Ok so you know your running LPG that's good, driving down the road isn't going switch you from gas to petrol unless you have a loose wire in which case I would suspect to see the switch lights going on and off, my next suggestion being a green oval thing... Check the fuel filter for leaks first (har...

Re: Possible sticky injector simulator?

Had something very similar to this myself the other week same kit but on a disco, the odd thing when the LPG kit was flicking to has I could even here a solenoid click I was 100% certain I was on LPG although I was running pure petrol... Re: UKLPG have no powers but UK MOT station do ?

Originaly when I was getting quotes for the insurance I declared I was going to modify it the next weekend, at this point the insurance broker said all I had to do was confirm when the conversion was finished, at that point there was no mention of any sort of inspection, when I confirmed the convers...

Re: Older installer's needed for advice please

We can assure you that the mini Lovato reducer is certainly not 'useless', we have supplied many of them and when fitted/used correctly, thay last many years (just like any good quality reducer). Perhaps not suitable for your project though. the little reg was not used, tinley offered a reg suitabl...

Re: Older installer's needed for advice please

The tank is an odd ball thing, it's a miniature 15l stako tank 30 degree with stargas multivalve I think it is, it looks like new wouldn't fit it to anything normally but the trike does about 60mpg anyway so 15l tank should get me around 120 miles before refill If I put a stop solonoid in would that...
