Re: Large 4x4 on LPG. Buying Advice.
The petrol RR Sport and Disco 3 (as the RR Sport is only a Disco 3 in a posh frock so it isn't really a Range Rover at all, but a Land Rover) has the spare dangling under the back at a funny angle which I suspect will cause problems with tank mounting and only came with the 4.4 NA or 4.2 ...

Re: Vapour evaporating from side of nozzle when filling
Would seem to be the pump you used at fault then, but Gilbert made a valid point about wear to the rear of the bayonet lugs being a potential cause or contributing factor.

Re: Vapour evaporating from side of nozzle when filling
It didn't do it when I used the pump on the other side a few days before so I think it's more likely to be the filler than the car, especially as this is the first time I've noticed it, if not how much is a new filler?.

Vapour evaporating from side of nozzle when filling
I noticed this when I filled up yesterday, there was some vapour evaporating off the nozzle when I was filling up, is this normal or is there an issue with the nozzle or my car?.

Re: Just put a deposit on an LPG Range Rover
I'd heard the BMW one was better which is why I tried to avoid a later one, I was thinking of going for a TDV8 but my budget would have bought a higher mileage one and they've been know to have issues with turbos going pop.

Just put a deposit on an LPG Range Rover
I've just put a deposit on a 4.4 litre V8 Range Rover, I was considering one a while ago but went for a diesel instead in the end, unfortunately it got written off.

Thanks Gilbert,
The place I called Was Arun? Autogas in Littlehampton, the phone diverted to them after calling Capital Autogas in New Malden, Surrey, apparantly they have gone out of business.

Re: Range Rover 4.4 Vogue(BMW engine) conversion in SE
I think the Discos have the later Jaguar engine which isn't so good with LPG, btw good choice with the Classic 300 Tdi, I used to have one and still regret selling it now, their really rare now.
