When you say you changed both solenoids - do you mean just the coils, or the valve assembly as well? What were the old ones like? Any sign of the internals being stuck or breaking-up?

I'm not sure if it will help or hinder, but here's a link to v5.1.5 of the BiGas software, which I believe is in the public domain. You need to purchase a 'key' to access some of the advanced features, but you probably won't need them for setting-up the system.

You also want the valve lube to be atomised in the air flow, having it hit anything will cause it to turn in to drips and therefore too much of a build up could cause a "diesel" effect where there is too much liquid for the piston to compress and therefore the engine stops dead - not very likely ...

If you care to do the maths, work out how much air is flowing through the manifold and at what speed - a couple of inches won't make a difference that can be felt or measured!

You can go either side of the throttle body - you can't have vacuum one side and not the other! Vacuum will drop on hard acceleration, but when there is no vacuum at all, the fluid will drain back into the bottle.

I would drill just above the flange (where the manifold connects to the cylinder head) to one side of the petrol injector housing, but at 90 degrees to the metal so the LPG hoses are underneath the fuel rail.

If the Vacuum line to the LPG system's MAP sensor has been fitted correctly, it will be in the right place to feed the FlashLube into - there's nothing wrong with teeing into it - and no point drilling another hole next to it either!

There might be a few things you could do yourself quite cheaply - like replacing the vapour-phase filter and cleaning out the liquid-phase filter (if you have one - usually part of the solenoid valve in the engine compartment, close to the vaporiser).

What version of the software are you using? (I have V5.1.5 if you need it)

Does the screen show the correct temperature when the engine is cold?

On the W140, the door locking control unit is in a padded compartment under the offside rear passenger seat, and can fill with water if you have a leaky boot-lid seal.

Check your vaporisers to see if there is an adjustment screw (usually an Allen key type grub screw) to up the pressure. I reckon you should be closer to 1.6 Bar.

Ideal tank feeds would be an 8mm feed from each tank, one to each vap, with a balance tube at the tank end.

You don't always need to drill into the inlet manifold (I never do) - there is a brass 'Tee' in the kit that you can use to feed the fluid into an existing pipe. You probably already have one going to your LPG kit's MAP sensor.

I think that in the first diagram, the 'C' shaped pipe on the left that goes to both vaps should be tee'd to an 8mm feed from the tank (via twin solenoid valves), and be labelled 'Gas Input', not 'Gas Output'.
