I just bought a 1999 audi a3 1.8t quattro. Being an old car i didnt pay much for it, so i'm looking for a good value for money kit to go in. Any recommendations?

I'm a newby, and am about to buy a a3 1.8t tonight (all going well!) and am considering converting it, so i'm very interested in this post. What system does everyone recommend for the 1.8t's?

I think i will just buy another car (once the insurance money comes through!) and have it converted. Once I have a car, i'll come back and do some searches on here to find out whats the best system for me.

Problem is, a significant proportion of the installation costs are labour, so to get a pro to remove one kit and refit rarely makes economic sense. Especially when you think that instead of nice new wiring of more than enough length, they may have to desolder wires which then turn out to be too ...
