Re: Why During the Hollidays??

If the signal is week its enough probably to stop the system from running, but as said above check for the obviouse first, coolant level etc.

Its also possible that an RPM filter might have been used[depending on the installer] these are flakey to say the least, they have also been unnecessary for the ...

Normally the only way the system will revert to pertol only mode is if

A,the switch has been pressed before switch off
B,battery disconect or flat battery.

Re: safety relay..........

Hi if you are running the efi wiring loom you have an inbuilt safety relay in the shape of the fuel pump relay.Just hook up to the fuel pump feed wire jobs a good un......or if you want to be realy clever use the ground output from the 14 CUX ecu to trigger yoiur own relay.

Re: UKLPG comments

i completely agree with all the comments above, the UKLPG is a @!## organisation, piss easy to be approved but nigh on impossible to get thrown out of,due to their need for subscriptions and registartion fee,s ,hence the reason there are so many approved installers now that should,nt even have been ...

Re: Prinns VSI

If it wont even attempt to change over it could be a couple of things, as said by CS it could be the tank solenoid or wiring [is your tank underneath??] or a missing rpm signal if its been fitted with an rpm filter.

Get it plugged in by a Prins dealer it wont be hard to find the problem.

Re: Newbie looking some advice

I think the most important thing to note is the warranty, this will only be valid with the installer.

Also do a search on here or problems with magic jet injectors.

That's going back to 2008 though - where are the 'real life' examples of V8 (or any other high power) direct injection vehicles?

Re: Direct Injection - the end of LPG?

Didn't the LPG fuelled BTCC car use a Prins DI system back in 2010 (before they changed the rules to outlaw it)? I suspect that may have been a testbed for the system,

They certainly did , and i now possess the whole kit from both cars which will be fitted to our BMW E30 track cars, full story ...

Look for the Prins ecu either a black or silver ecu looking box,the fuses will be within about a foot of the multiplug , you need to take out the 10amp one for a few seconds.

Re: range rover p38 with prins system wont run on lpg

you will still need to see what the delivery pressure is after the rebuild, you could tee into the pipe feeding the filter if you cant get to a Prins guy.
As Rossko said dont mess with the PRV.

Re: Do the injector banks need to be matched?

Hi Ted,can you post a few pics up of the main componants , ECU, Vaporiser etc, this will confirm if its Prins or not.
Hana injectors can be confused with Keihin as they are basically copies.
If it is a Prins system then there are some issues to address, firstly it sounds like another untrained and ...

Re: LPG intermittent switch over - BRC Sequential

The relay controls the feed to the solenoids,if it stalls when it changes over its likely to be the culprit.
Try removing the feed pipe to the injectors next time it stalls,if there little or no gas in the line work back from the relay also dont forget the earths.
