LEEDS LPG is owned and run by 2 brother from Poland according to my Prinns speclist in Huddesfield, LPG has been around for years in Poland well before here in the UK they are well ahead of they game. Alot of people rang him to query how they are able to offer kits inc fitting for £600-700.

Got a new kit supplied by the chap fitting it £55!! Saw the old kit and the nozzle was jamming due to crud build up.

Can someone please confirm Vaporiser numbered A-E are the older type and those number F-J are the newer ones?

I am sure he stated mine is a J and they do not make kits for it anymore?

Ive just been looking there are loads in Germany but will have to ascertain the number for mine and give it a go with the repair kit and hopefully that solves the MPG problem.

Strange thins is it runs 100% on LPG no fires, not missing just the MPG is throught the floor!!

I have a merc c240 2.6 V6 Prins VSI system fitted, its been giving me shocking MPG on gas 18.8 mpg 80 miles to a full tank, have had the lamba sensors checked working fine, had it diagostics done not running rich on petrol on LPG.

So far I have not seen a figure lower then 67p per litre here in West Yorkshire?

Thankfully Tecknicar have agreed to 'bench test' the lambda sensor to get to the bottom this week, so here goes again............

Update the Mystery thickens.

I took it to a electrical auto specialist, put it on his lap top and straight away it showed the following fault:

R Lambda sensor short circuit (Pre Cat) Positive reading.
L Lambda sensor short circuit (Pre Cat) Positive reading.

Result! He said the front two ...

SOME FUEL FIGURES,

£20 petrol=15.5 litres=85miles=24.95MPG around town stop start driving
I ran it soley on Petrol 3 times and never really got higher then this may be lower.

Am I correct in thinking I should be getting 20mpg on LPG rarther then 12MPG.
As a comparison a 'rather posh chap' lives ...

Thanks for the advice guys as instructed I will get a diagnostic check done this week from a garage just to check the petrol side of things and hope it is running ‘rich’ and that resolves the issue but will give an update on how I get on.

Yes when it goes down BUT when i park on a hill the tank reads empty but when on level ground the needle goes back up which indicates that it taking 'real life' readings??
