Ha ha, thats why scientists and experts are in charge of these decisions not the guy who pumps gas for minimum wage.4eyes wrote:"LPG is dangerous and if I had my way, it wouldn't be allowed on the forecourt" - from the cashier at my local Morrison's petrol station.

Thanks for your reply.
That sounds like a good option for diagnosing problems including non LPG issued.

lamba sensors not connected
I have noticed on the 3 cars I have had with LPG that the lambda sensors are not connected and in the installation instructions it says do not connect. But I do see on the forums that some people have them connected. I'm wondering why some are connected and some not and if there is any advantage to ...

Re: how to adjust lpg level sender
It's very annoying 1990s software (But reliable and it works), when you type the number you then have to press enter. Took me a while to figure it out.

Re: smell
One trick they use to get rid of a lingering smell in a car is to buy a bag of charcoal, cut it open and leave it on the back seat of the car, this will absorb the smell.
Don't use the easy light charcoal or anything that's impregnated with fluid. Normally the supermarket basic one is the best in ...

Why are the gauges so inaccurate?
I wonder why the gauges are so inaccurate, It looks like a float the same as a petrol tank. Is it the nature of the gas, does it move about more, and why don't they make a gauge that uses pressure?

Re: Factory fitted LPG
What would a car look like that was designed and built with LPG in mind? Probably direct injection, fuel gauge and switch would be part of the dash, tank hidden away, start on Gas. What do you think?

Factory fitted LPG
I was always under the impression that there is no such thing as a true factory fitted LPG system, They are little more than a dealer fit option in the case of Vaxhall (I could be wrong, that's why I', asking). However I see more and more on ebay, the internet and this forum about Factory fitted lpg ...

Re: Switches back to petrol
Hi, I connected the software and monitored the gas pressure. It was around 1.5 before and after the switch over although it did pop up to 1.9 for a second twice. Now when I turned it back to petrol and then back to gas it would stay at 1.5 until I put my foot down and then it would plummet right ...

Re: Lpg won't switch after engine change
After my engine swap the 2 hoses that go to the pressure/vacuum sensor were put on the wrong way around which caused similar problems.

Re: Switches back to petrol
The car was off the road for a lot of the time, Also once it goes over to gas it's fine, for example If I leave my house and drive on a big long trip it runs on gas all the way, it's a bit annoying on the small start stop trips. I will have a look at the pressure when this happens.
Thanks

Switches back to petrol
I have a problem where when the car switches to gas, as soon as I put my foot down there is a flat spot and it goes back to petrol like it's run out. If I keep switching it back and don't put my foot down it eventually runs fine on gas, Like it's needing to build up pressure.
