Re: Injector Replacement Poll!
If you look at the diagnostics page of a AEB ECU, you can see the individual timings of each injector. You also have sequential change over and calibration. How is that not sequential?

Re: air filter /flame arrestor 425 impco
Sounds like it has a simple flame arrestor fitted, which would probably be fine. If you do wont to go for a full air filter have a look at http://www.tinleytech.co.uk/acatalog/Mi ... ducts.html.

Re: Jeep XJ petrol pump
It is some times possible to lift the carpet and carefully cut a access hole in the boot floor. This lets you remove the pump for inspection/replacement. Then screw a plate over the hole. This will some times be done when the tank is installed(I tend to do this while the tanks are out, just in case ...

Re: what usb to serial device do you use for windows 7?
First make sure you have the correct driver for windows 7, then I would look to see what is happening just before the crash at 4500. If the gas injectors are reaching there max 20-23m/sec then it is possible this will cause the system to crash the connection. Up the gas pressure and recalibrate, or ...

Hi, you are correct in saying that the tank should hold 80% of the water fill capacity(94ltr). About 75ltrs useable from empty.

If your looking for general lpg kits, you could try Tinley tech, they always get a good reveiw on here. If your looking purely for the cheapest equipment you can find then im sure a google search will work, if the equipment will work is another matter!!

Re: Newbie LPG system problem
Sounds like the beeping your getting is the system pulling up a fault rather that running out of gas. If the engine needs to be turned off and on before the swith will operate its a fault, not low pressure. Get it plugged in and the faults read.

Think the Toyota Prado can have a cylinder tank mounted underneath at the back behind the axel, would be worth a look with a tape measure. Stefaneli has been around for a while, its a Italian system so should be good although I havent had much experiance of it myself.

Re: 1997 Range Rover P38 4.6 HSE Gems V8 DIY install.
You adjust it on the allen keys as you said, but if you have 1.9bar when running on gas on a bigas reg then I would check you have your vap pipes connected correctly.

Re: van wont change from petrol to lpg
Would be worth checking that the solenoids are opening, should be one on tank and another under the bonnet at the filter shut off valve. Its possible that a bad coil could have caused the fuse to blow. If you power up the coils with 12volts then you should hear a click from each one. If there is no ...

Re: Problems converting >06 BMW.. Help
Hmm. Ive run a 2006 V10 Dodge ram on a Bigas 10cylinder kit with no problems. Maybe not quite as advanced as a M6 but even so. It works just the same as a 8cyl kit but with two extra channels. The main differance is there is no OBD connection available on a AEB 10cyl ecu, so OBD wires cant be ...

Re: LPG range rover need advice on what to tell customer
If this was fitted by a "professional installer" (uklpg or not) then I would name and shame, there is no excuse for such dangerous fitting and people should be warned not to have there cars converted by someone with a complete disregard for safety. We have all seen cars with odd mistakes, but thats ...

Re: Dash switch flashing
The slow flashing of the amber light indicates that the system has recieved a lean or rich signal for to long and not been able to correct itself. I would guess from wahat you have said that it is not getting a signal from the lambda probe, so it thinks its lean, winds up the stepper motor and is ...

Hi, firstly, work out if it is single point or multipoint. Is a carb engine or is it injection? if carb its going to be a single point mixer system, if injection- does it have gas injectors (multipoint) or a mixer ring on the air intake (single point). Is there any sign of a lpg ecu - If its ...
