I'm neither one way or the other on HHO.
But if I were to travel in from one end of the country to the other,As a bi-product the car's alternator would produce electricity .
Now I could use this to listen to a radio , charge my phone , or run a HHO unit to try and save some dosh.

thanks for info link. Never heard of such a thing till now.

I put my spanners away in the 70's just after MK3 cortina came out- 40+ different variations of exhaust wow..
on PDI we had to measure the height of each wheel arch and look at a chart to see what colour suspension spring to fit ...

Thanks for comments. Not a clue what a wasted spark coil pack was! and is..

My reply to Gilbertd was ment to be amusing with the fact that the 2 cylinders were not firing thus wasting sparks.

The coil is just one long unit which I replaced last year, it made a slight difference but not ...

yes the sparks getting wasted alright,,(ha! HA!) on cyl 2 and 4

I put some wd40 into the injectors which was left for a time. Started it up and it ran sweeter than its done for some time.
Thought i'd cracked it...

Took it for a run and hey presto worse than before after a ...

well its a some time since I revamped the vaporiser. Ran quite well. then tank fill valve failed so new tank £350 quids inc variouse bits..back up and running fills up great.

Then .which is now. I have a missfire on No2 and No4 cylinders. no misfire on petrol.

I suppose with its age(factory fit ...

Got it , Filthy connector on grey wire , couldn't see how bad in dark...ha!ha!.

got code 12 shows its working and code 34 ....

so no pressure then...

In a post from feb this year i read:-
If the switch is in the gas cylinder position and the vaporiser has warmed up the switch stops flashing and either remains dimly lit or not lit at all, then you are running on LPG.

pre-refurbing the vaporiser, my switch light was always ON and ran great on gas ...

When I first purchased the zafira every time I ran on lpg the light on the switch illuminated all the time...unless a fault occured when it would flash...

Back in Feb/March time (don't time fly) I had quite a few questions on the koltec/necam system on my Zafira 1.8 factory fit..
I:e tank not accepting gas,flipping back from gas to petrol etc...thanks to all for replies then..

Just reading bits by 'KVER' on as*an*wner fo*um.
He basically intimates the monio software is interfaced to pc from the 4 wire connector in the fuse box/or/ switch area that has the grey diag wire in it..
and vauxhall official LPG repairers should have one !!.

All we need ...

I think on this forum (could be mistaken) a guy found the float in his tank had cracked thus not floating as it should...can't remember the actual probs he had....bit of a waste of a post realy....but like to keep in touch....

PJPJ .. I've found a rusky manual in russian even ,about the earlier ...

You don't seem to have verified whether any gas or liquid comes out of the tank if you hotwire the outlet solenoid with a loosened pipe union. Or maybe weigh the tank to see if there is any content.

ICOM ain't gone bust, but spares are hard to obtain in UK.

there is no solenoid to stop the filling side of it, if it is not running on LPG then you may find that the tank is full and won't let anymore in.

Easy way to test, is to put 12v straight to the solenoid and see if the car runs on LPG
