I've used it plenty of times. Go to the barrier and press the button and it will open.

Re: LPG filling time

Looking to get some feedback from other lpg users. Roughly, what is your filling time? How many seconds does a litre take?

Re: LPG filling time

Thanks, I'll try it on the weekend. I am an engineer but wasn't sure whether it had to be done by a LPG from a safety point of view.

Also, will replacing the current filler with a proper one make much difference?

Re: Re: LPG filling time

It wholly depends on the pump. If the tanks are miles away from the pump then they can be slow. If it's a tank behind the pump then it should be quicker.

At a countrywide outlet, the tanks are next to the pump and its still the same rate.

I'll try another station to make sure.

Also the tip you ...

Re: LPG filling time

I filled up today and it was taking around 5-6 seconds for one litre. Am I correct in saying this is slow as it should take around 3 seconds?

Re: LPG filling time

I had a look at the valve today and it is a Tomasetto. It does say on it mod.at02, here is a pic of it

So my question is, are there better valves on the market which I can use instead which will speed up filling time?

LPG on Fifth Gear

There was a very good clip on Fifth Gear on Monday about LPG. Overall it was a very good video showing the savings possible and its safety.

Im sure the episode will be repeated and maybe available online to view.

Re: BMW E60 tank size

Do you know the dimensions of the tank? Also is it a single or 4 hole tank?

Lastly, what sort of ecomony are you getting on LPG?

Fair enough, just find it strange that a standard copper plug gives a better spark than Platinum plug.

BMW Spark plugs

I have a BMW 325i (engine code M54B25) and looking to replace the spark plugs. The current ones were changes 4 years and 24,000 miles ago.

BMW reccomends BOSCH FGR7DQP or NGK BKR6EQUP. I currently have NGK BKR6EQUP which I believe are platinum.

My question is, what do you reccomend as I have an ...

I have a E46 BMW 325i running on a LPG conversion. I seem to have an intermittent fault when running on LPG and driving on motorway as the engine management light comes on, the code is P0174. Very very good figures on the S-max there, only costing you 8p a mile. What MPG do you get on petrol?
