Thanks for reply Gilbert. No - it has been on permanently for years irrespective of whether it is on gas or petrol.

Over in Turkey at present and gas has just turned off onto petrol. Have stopped , cleared the code but just switches over to petrol again.
Fitted with a Prins Vsi system - more trouble than they are worth in my opinion.
I have had problems before - usually to do with the wiring but never this fault ...

Bit of advice please. Been told by some installers that conversion on the above is not recommended because it is direct injection. Only one who has said " no problem" is an approved Prins installer who claims he has a kit specific to my CITREON C4 - but I am not keen on getting a Prins installed ...

If you post a pic or two of your install - showing where the pipe from the valvecare bottle joins onto something other than the valvecare bottle and valvecare pump, I'll be able to advise what type of valvecare system you have.
