There is most certainly a shortage. How this has not made the papers is beyond we with this cold snap.

Re: '99 Audi S4 Avant 2.7 Bi-turbo - BRC LPG
Bit of a resurrection! I've not been on here for a long while - I eventually sold the S4 to a friend and took a Golf R on a lease deal - very quick and civilised but nothing special. Bought an 04 Mini to keep us going until we finish building our house - then my friend said he was thinking of ...

Stag 300 error - gas injector error 1 2 3 4 5 6
Hi all,
Looking for some thoughts, car won't switch to gas anymore, have run the software but it only tells me 'gas injector error 1 2 3 4 5 6'.
Symptoms were than under load (a specific junction I would put the foot down for) it would switch back to petrol at high revs and blow the fuse.

Re: Road trip on Friday - The Balkans Part 2
Well, we made it back without a hitch - 4008 miles all in.
Had a great trip, Audi ran like a dream the whole way. Cruised beautifully at 90/100 through Germany, so quiet - if you sit at 70/80 you are in and out of lanes, so better just keeping up with everyone. You can tell this car was built for ...

Thanks gilbertd.
I've got cover for Serbia sorted as well as Montenegro, so just need to get Macedonia and Albania (at the border?!). We'll just have to grin and bear the cost as we have no other option.
I've got to say, Aviva have been really really helpful. They upgraded the insurance to Fully ...

Will do my best :)
Should be a great trip, my mother has decided she wants to see as much of the world as possible before she's too old or too poor and my dad works too much, so it's down to me :) None of my 3 siblings have ever been up for this type of road trip.
Got the car all serviced ...

Road trip on Friday - The Balkans Part 2
Well, set off on Friday round Europe to Serbia, (FYRO) Macedonia, Albania, Montenegro and Croatia. Had planned taking the Corrado, but decided that the Audi is safer, quieter, has a longer LPG range and more space.
Set off on Friday and take the overnight ferry from Hull.
Route is:

Bla bla bla...Profess. If I want to build a house, it'll take a long time doing it on my own. Get a squad of experts and I'll have it up in, literally, a fraction of the time (and probably better built).

Do you have enough LPG stations to make it work for you? I understood that Spain did not have many filling stations.
Good luck

I'd boycott the, but also put in written complaints - find out if they have an area manager and write a letter asking for a response - also if they have a national office contact them too. If knowone with any influence knows, nothing can get done.

Re: BRC will not switch to Lpg
Oh well, looks like I'm being forced to go to an installer for this. BRC don't want to supply me the part because I'm not an installer, can't get one anywhere else.
Mega pissed off. Thanks BRC, great one, you've got the market stitched up.

I think BRC are sick full stop. I've tried at various points to get through by phone, but goes straight to voicemail.
I've left numerous vm's and no-one has gotten back to me. This is fast becoming a farce getting something as simple as a temperature sensor

Re: LPG variable quality?
Agree about butane increasing performance/improving fuel economy. On the two trips I've made abroad, I noticed a 2mpg improvement over about 4000miles, both times. I checked the pumps and there was a far higher butane content.

Re: Brilliantly successful Volvo, but what next?
From my experiences of more modern Mercs and BMWs, I'd stay away if you want a car that'll take you to galactic miles - i just don't think they are built the way they used to be. My parents have had various Mercs and the newer ones have not been great for robustness. The 04 E270 (albeit diesel ...

thanks rossko. I tried this last night but website seems to be goosed, just loops me back to google, even doing it from my phone is the same. Did you managed to access it okay? It's the Seq56, but can't get in to see the vap without taking the bumper off, hopefully get that done at the weekend.
